Episode plot: The sensational disappearance of two influencers who travel the country posting their van life adventures has Tess and Matt tracing their trail on an epic road trip – with Sunny riding shotgun through the car speakers. Unbeknownst to Sunny, Tess leverages the case to lower Sunny's guard and reveal more about her past. Jake is quickly brought on the case when the three locate the burned-out van at the bottom of a wooded ravine, creating complications on the personal front. Returning to the college, Matt enlists Mia's help using her pull with the low vision community to dig into Sunny's employment at EyesUp, confirming Tess' worst fears.
