When Ellen Ripley finally returns to Earth, she learns that the planet LV-426—now called Acheron has been colonized. But LV-426 is where Ripley and crew of the Nostromo found the original Xenomorph, the killing machine known as “The Alien”. The colony known as Hadley’s Hope is where a group of colonists, protected by the Colonial Marines, seek to terraform the inhospitable planet, and to uncover Acheron’s unknown resources.
5 Alien: Sea of Sorrows:
Set 300 years after the events of “Out of the Shadows” and “River of Pain”, Sea of Sorrows deals with the rediscovery of dormant Xenomorphs [Aliens] in the abandoned mines of LV-178, the planetoid from “Out of the Shadows”, which has now been terraformed and renamed New Galveston.
6 Aliens:
Ripply goes with a crew to visit the planet where the first Aliens were found. A colony which is now living on the planet has not been heard of for some time and the crew goes to investigate.
7 Alien3:
Fury 161 is a wretched planet, a penal colony and an industrial complex manned by violent prisoners. When an escape pod from the USS Sulaco crash lands there, Ellen Ripley appears to be the only passenger left alive. Then inmates begin to die, all at the hands of another survivor, a creature which encounters Ripley and spares her life!
8 Alien Resurrection:
Ellen Ripley awakens onboard the space station Auriga. Her last memory is of her own fiery death. And yet she is somehow alive. Ripley discovers that her “resurrection” is a result of an incredible experiment that has altered both her and the creature she has been carrying. To combat the incalculable alien menace, she teams up with a renegade band of space smugglers.
