Dopo aver perso una scommessa con la sua ex moglie Marta, Pasquale, goffo ma appassionato addestratore di cani, ha dovuto cederle Cecchino, il suo amatissimo cane. L’unico modo che ha per riprenderselo è quello di racimolare abbastanza soldi da dimostrare a Marta di poter prendersi cura del cane (e di sé stesso). L’idea è semplice: aprire una nuova scuola di addestramento. E tutto sembra filare per il verso giusto: dopo neanche un giorno, il corso, incredibilmente, è sold-out. Peccato per un dettaglio: il volantino è arrivato nelle mani sbagliate e, a causa di un malinteso, ad essersi iscritti non sono i padroni di cani, ma i genitori di cinque pestiferi bambini. Ormai il danno è fatto, i pagamenti sono stati effettuati e i bambini devono restare con lui. Ma d’altronde, pensa, se i cani sono un po’ come dei bambini, anche i bambini non saranno poi così diversi dai cani…giusto?
