Set in the early 2000s, the series includes excerpts from the film as flashbacks to reconstruct the protagonists' memories.
Episode plot: As tensions rise, Wilson meets Lígia, a reporter from Spain looking to investigate corruption in the City of God. Later, Leka questions whether her father's photographs are exploitative, Barbantinho tries to set up a face-to-face with Curió and Bradock, and Berenice fights to keep her boyfriend Clayton, aka "PQD," away from crime.
