DESCRIPTION

Zorro è una miniserie francese ispirata all'omonimo, leggendario eroe mascherato creato da Johnston McCulley, interpretato in questa versione dal premio Oscar Jean Dujardin (The Artist). Creato da Benjamin Charbit e Noé Debré, il drama d'azione e avventura inizia il suo racconto nel 1821, quando Don Diego de la Vega diventa sindaco di Los Angeles per migliorare la sua amata città, succedendo al padre. Sposato con Gabriella (Audrey Dana, L'accusa), Diego si rende conto che certe ingiustizie presenti in città - molte delle quali riconducibili all'avido uomo d'affari Don Emmanuel (Éric Elmosnino, Mike) - potranno essere risolte solo facendo ricomparire il famoso Zorro.
Diego, che non usa quell'identità segreta da 20 anni, non ha altra scelta se non rispolverarla per il bene comune. Ma dovrà lottare per bilanciare la sua doppia identità di Zorro e di sindaco, mettendo a dura prova il suo equilibrio mentale e il matrimonio con Gabriella, la quale è all'oscuro del suo segreto. Aiutato dal fedele Bernardo (Salvatore Ficarra, Incastrati), e scontrandosi con il sergente Garcia (Grégory Gadebois, L'ufficiale e la spia), la determinazione di Zorro nel liberare il popolo dal dominio della corona spagnola viene messa alla prova nel corso delle sue diverse avventure.
