My BD encode of the show. Subtitles from [LostYears] (via [sam]). I removed romaji from songs for consistency with other [smol] releases.
Optimized a sign in episode 17. It was previously so bad it'd make a high-end streaming box hang for 5 whole seconds.. straight up skipping into the next scene.
If you're wondering why I used AAC for the 5.1 track; after my season 1 upload, I was told that Opus doesn't support the "5.1 (side)" channel layout, which Fruits Basket's USBD indeed uses, rather than the odd 5.1 layout which Opus allows with rear channels. That results in the layout being swapped to using rear channels rather than side channels. There's no simple workaround for that, so I ended up with qAAC instead; as it retains the intended channel layout, and audio quality is nearly as transparent as Opus at the same bitrates.
