The Japanese HV ver. was left as is. Original version is the left-channel with UK VHS inserts. __Notes__ ¹ The 5.1 remix on the 2025 release has corrections according to interviews, but I haven't checked what was corrected over previous releases. ² I previously referenced the 2016 BD Perfect Edition Dolby Surround timing, but I noticed timing issues on the first reel. There are mistimed changes in the HV Stereo and PE Dolby SR that can't be fixed (e.g. in Dolby SR when drunk Fokker comes to the rescue) ³ A ±660ms insert after Misa reminisced about Riber, because 1984 LD cuts audio there to compensate for a poorly executed *fix* 6 minutes earlier. 12 frames were cut to correct an animation loop error when Macross leaves Titan's orbit (see 2007 DVD disc 2 00:15:59 for error), but they forgot to cut the audio as well! Later releases correct the animation with blending. ⁴ 1993 LD ending theme fade-out is shorter to accomodate extras at the end of the disc. CLV LDs have a limit of 60 minutes per side.
