We are back though and everything should run smoothly now. New servers. Updated domains. And new owners. We invite you all to start uploading torrents again!
Hey guys, Mystyx here.
In light of Crunchyroll assigning new English translator for LotM, I have decided to stop the CR+WeTV weekly release. I have deleted the episode 1 post since the new translation is quite good and consists of all fixes (episode 2 will stay until CR pushes out new translation). I might do two batch releases (for CR+WeTV subs) at the end of Season 1, one with normal 1080p (1920x816), and the other with Ultrawide 1080p (2538x1080). I will include WeTV subs in weekly release, you can directly use it over Crunchyroll's video, there won't be any timing issue.
I'm going to continue releasing Q Theatre/Chibi, and Mysticism Class weekly. I had someone take a look at my laptop and it's able to encode within reasonable time now. So, for Q Theatre, I trimmed it properly from Tencent's 1080p HBR video (thanks to my friend for this and other audios) with ffmpeg (CRF 15, preset slow or slower I forgot). There are also minor dialogue changes in Q Theatre episodes 1 and 2, and Mysticism Class episodes 1 and 2. So that's why they are tagged as v2.
Tencent videos usually contains 3 audio tracks: AAC 2.0, AAC 5.1, EAC3 2.0 (all three with 48kHz sampling rate). My initial plan was to use these audios with Crunchyroll's video but it's just not possible to use them as-is. Tencent has 2 advertisements in their video, one near the beginning and one near the end. I tried to trim those adverts but I'm just not able to do that with perfection (I installed Audacity just yesterday and it's painful). So, I'm posting them in case it piques someone's interest. I extracted the audios using ffmpeg (-map 0:a:0 -c copy "01_aac_stereo_48k.m4a" -map 0:a:1 -c copy "01_aac_surround_48k.m4a" -map 0:a:2 -c copy "01_eac3_stereo_48k.eac3").
For weekly release, I will post chapters, untouched WeTV subtitles, Q Theatre, Mysticism Class and Tencent audio files.

**Question for anyone with 2 minutes to spare:** Does anyone know which one of VARYG or SubsPlease re-encodes their video? I zoomed out into both of their episode 1 release (1920x816) and noticed that VARYG looks a tad bit sharper than SubsPlease. Or could it be that Crunchyroll is giving both of them slightly different video based on region? I'm not sure which one to pick for the final batch.
EDIT:
- Thanks for the reply @Animorphs. I checked the hash and yes, both SubsPlease and VARYG came up identical. Just to be absolutely sure, I also ran ImageMagick's compare -metric AE on multiple scenes to check for pixel differences and I got 0 differences. You are right, I must have compared 2538x1080 with 1920x816 back then. My bad. Anyways, now I'm sure about both VARYG and SubsPlease, so thanks again.
