Volume 101 in English, with slightly altered Viz translations. Used **Phantom Greyfire**'s release as a base, massive credit to them.
Welp, this'll be the last volume I do. With PZG and VLT taking the reins for new AND old volumes, I no longer feel the need to continue this. Which is fantastic, because again, and I can't stress this enough, doing this *sucks*, and I feel like those teams are achieving results that are close enough to my ideal release anyway (really, they’re doing a phenomenal job). Sure, maybe I'll go through and personally change some things here and there for my own personal use, but I will gladly watch others handle the bulk of the work from here on out.
I was happy to be able to bring the colored volumes up to speed once upon a time when it looked like the translations would never catch up, and thanks to all who have enjoyed my releases. It was a pleasure bringing One Piece to more readers, even if it took a lot out of me.
And for the record... I’ve gotten a lot of shit for “Rubber-Rubber” over the years, even with my disclaimer that these are my personal translation choices, but in my defense, "Rubber-Rubber" *is* the more accurate translation. "Rubber" is the 1:1 translation of "gomu". It was only translated as Gum-Gum because it's phonetically similar to Gomu-Gomu, and anyone trying to convince themselves otherwise is bending over backwards to justify a less accurate translation. If that’s what you prefer, then fine, but I *guarantee* you that if it were translated as "Rubber" to begin with, none of you would have any problem with it, and you would think "Gum-Gum" is the stupidest thing you've ever heard. But I digress...
