Plot
In southern Italy, Mary, a young woman bound to criminal Nunzio, wants out of their toxic
relationship but fears the repercussions. Her love affair with Giulio, a new riding
instructor, drives her to find courage. Despite warnings from Michele, her childhood
friend and Nunzio’s partner, Mary chooses love with Giulio. Nunzio, feeling betrayed,
plots revenge. A story of love and blood where the real subversive and renewing elements

Trama
Siamo nel cuore della Puglia. Mary, giovane amante pentita del pregiudicato Nunzio,
vorrebbe troncare questa storia malata e asfissiante, ma ha paura delle conseguenze.
Dall’incontro con Giulio, il nuovo insegnante di equitazione del maneggio che frequenta,
nasce una relazione d’amore, che le dà la forza finale di iniziare un processo di
distacco. Michele, amico d’infanzia di Mary, nonché sgherro di Nunzio, tenta di metterla
in guardia e farle cambiare idea, ma Mary decide di vivere il suo amore con Giulio. Ferito
nell’orgoglio, Nunzio, sposato con Carmela, che durante la reclusione ha gestito tutti
suoi traffici, decide di vendicarsi… Una storia di amore e di sangue dove i veri elementi
sovversivi e rinnovatori sembrano essere l’amore e l’amicizia.
