This episode seems like it may be marking the second phase of Baatar as a show, as this show features a LOT of interesting status quo changeups, I don't want to say too much, but there will be some spoilery fun facts below for those who already know about this episode's big secret, or who wanna come back for some bonus info later!

Alright, so our new character Wang Xiaoming is of course played by Masahiro Inoue, *Kadoya Tsukasa (Kamen Rider Decade)* himself! ~~(And more or less playing himself in-universe too lol)~~
While in the Editor's Note in-epsiode, we explained that "Wang Xiaoming" is a nickname for Tsukasa among Chinese *Kamen Rider* fans, we didn't explain *why* that's a nickname for him.
Believe it or not this is ANOTHER situation where I need to talk to you all about the *Card Captor Sakura* IP and its extended universe! (Baatar already made a couple of overt Sakura references in its 6th episode!)
In Card Captor Sakura our deuteragonist is a young boy named Li Syaoran. Even though the character is Chinese in-universe, and CLAMP gave him a Chinese name (his proper name being: 李 小狼 / Lǐ Xiǎoláng), when the series was translated into Chinese his name was mistranslated to "Wang Xiaoming" (which I've been informed is a painfully generic boy's name, along the lines of the English name "John Smith").
Okay neat, but uh, what does this have to do with *Kamen Rider Decade*?
My belief is that the connection is due to a sequel/spin-off series to *Sakura* called *"Tsubasa: Resevior Chronicle"*. In this series Syaoran takes on the role of protagonist, as he travels through Alternate Universes, where he meets AU counterparts of legacy characters from CLAMP's previous works, all while hoping to collect a MacGuffin from each world.
And already I'm guessing the bells are going off in many people's heads as *Kamen Rider Decade* is a show where our protagonist travels through AR Worlds, where he meets AU counterparts of legacy characters from Kamen Rider's previous works, all while hoping to collect a MacGuffin item from each world...
Yeah so these two series are both *legacy celebration* series, that also have the same core premise.
So it's of little surprise to me that this is a connection fans of broader Japanese media have made, especially considering it's a connection I've even drawn in the past myself.
It's quite a funny series of connections, and an unexpected bonus reference to *Sakura* from the staff of Xtreme Vanguard Baatar.
