Plot:
Five teenage girls - Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin - discover they are the new Guardians of the Veil, chosen to protect the universe from evil forces. Each girl possesses control over one of the five elements: Quintessence (energy), Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Together they form W.I.T.C.H. and must balance their normal teenage lives with their supernatural duties.
In Season 1, the Guardians must save Meridian from the evil sorcerer Phobos and his servant Cedric, who are searching for Phobos’ sister - the long lost princess of Meridian and true heir to the throne.
In Season 2, after Meridian is freed and the true heir takes the throne, a new mysterious sorceress named Nerissa emerges. She frees Phobos’ top henchmen and reforms them as the Knights of Vengeance, forcing the Guardians to face their most dangerous challenge yet.
