Ryu è un giovane sordomuto che lavora in fabbrica per sostentare la sorella in continua dialisi e in attesa di un trapianto di rene. Ryu non è un donatore compatibile e le attese sono troppo lunghe, così inizia il suo calvario: il giovane contatta un'associazione criminale alla quale cede un suo rene e tutti i suoi risparmi, in cambio di un rene compatibile. Gli prendono il rene e i soldi, ma non riceve niente in cambio. Intanto lo licenziano. Nel frattempo, ironia della sorte, si è reso disponibile un rene per la sorella, ma Ryu non ha più i soldi per affrontare l'operazione. La sua ragazza lo spinge verso quella che lei ritiene l'unica soluzione: rapire la figlia di Dongjin, il padrone della fabbrica, per ottenere un riscatto....
