DESCRIPTION
Sheriff Deputy Rick Grimes gets shot and falls into a coma. When awoken he finds himself in a Zombie Apocalypse. Not knowing what to do he sets out to find his family, after he's done that he gets connected to a group to become the leader. He takes charge and tries to help this group of people survive, find a place to live, and get them food. This show is all about survival, the risks, and the things you'll have to do to survive.

La storia di Cold Storage narra le vicende di Chase (interpretato da Josh Stewart), uno dei sopravvissuti all'apocalisse zombie che, da poco (è quindi un prequel), sta sconvolgendo il pianeta. Chase è alla ricerca della sorella con cui è riuscito a tenersi in contatto solo fino a quattro giorni prima. Con un compagno (che ricorda molto Merle) armato di machete ed un piede di porco, s'imbatterà presto in un luogo che dà il nome alla serie: uno di quei tipici magazzini americani dove le persone affittano delle vere e proprie “stanze” dove conservare ciò che vogliono. Un magazzino dove qualcuno è riuscito a sopravvivere sfruttando tutto quel che è stato lasciato nei box...ma ci si potrà fidare oppure no?
I quattro episodi, lunghi solo cinque minuti l'uno, hanno lo scopo di fare da antipasto per il piatto forte, la serie che debutterà il 15 ottobre. La sceneggiatura è semplice e banale, ma non mancheranno momenti di tensione. Inoltre, le riprese in bianco e nero delle telecamere a circuito chiuso donano un'atmosfera che ricorda, piacevolmente, quella de “La notte dei morti viventi” di Romero.
