Developed by 2K Marin, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a third-person shooter (not a FPS, so) for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, set in the early 60s during the Cold War and tells the origins of the organization XCOM .
Initially, the secret intelligence group was set up to investigate the Soviets, but the object of the investigation soon turns to the well-known theme of the aliens when it becomes now clear the possibility of an upcoming invasion of Earth. In the shoes of William Carter, we face this terrible threat that is becoming more urgent advancing in the game. The structure is typical of third-person shooter, but carries different tactical elements derived from regular series XCOM, in particular as regards the positioning and operation of the support team.
The intention of the developers, the game puts us directly in the first line, thereby altering the mechanics of the fighting expect from the series and making strategic experience first hand the clashes, without losing sight of the original structure.
