Katherine, having possessed Elena's body, conspires further with daughter Nadia and hired Traveler witch Mia to subdue her host permanently and forces Matt to teach her about Elena, but Damon hid Katherine's corpse. Enzo demands that Damon put down Aaron like every Whitmore before him, which Damon does after 'Elena' dumps him. Stefan's mediation efforts are ignored.

DESCRIPTION
The vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore, eternal adolescents, having been leading "normal" lives, hiding their bloodthirsty condition, for centuries, moving on before their non-aging is noticed. They are back in the Virginia town where they became vampires. Stefan is noble, denying himself blood to avoid killing, and tries to control his evil brother Damon, who promised to Stefan an eternity of misery.
