Episode Plot:
Sam leaps into the body of Leon Styles, an illiterate and violent escaped convict who is holding Carol Pruitt and her daughter Becky at gunpoint in her home. Sam has no idea why he's there and is puzzled at Al's absence. What he doesn't know is that the real Leon Styles has escaped from the holding facility in the Quantum holding chamber. Al is desperate to find him for without Leon Styles, Sam will not be able to leap. Al knows that history has the prison escapee being killed by the Sheriff whose daughter he killed. Sam thinks he's there to keep Leon from being killed. Having done what he was really sent there to do however, he remains stuck, unable to leap until Al completes his.

DESCRIPTION
Doctor Sam Beckett led a group of top scientists into the desert to research his theory that a man could time travel within his own lifetime. Unfortunately, in order to save his funding, he was forced to enter the accelerator prematurely and vanished. He then found himself in someone else's body with partial amnesia. His only contact from home is Al, a holographic image only he can see and hear. Setting right things which once went wrong, Sam leaps from life to life, hoping each time that this is the final leap home.
