DESCRIPTION

Eastbound & down är en skruvad amerikansk komediserie om den avdankade baseballstjärnan Kenny Powers.
Två saker satte stopp för Kenny Powers baseballkarriär: hans odrägliga personlighet och faktumet att han inte kastade bra längre. Efter att karriären slocknat åker Kenny tillbaka till sin hemstad och börjar arbeta som gymnastiklärare på sin gamla högstadieskola. Där träffar han sin gamla tonårskärlek April och börjar träna med Tampa Bay Rays. Men comebacken går åt skogen och Kenny bestämmer sig för att lämna April och sin hemstad för att åka till Mexiko och satsa på en tuppfäktningskarriär. Han blir vän med en mexikansk grannfamilj och en sensuell barsångerska vid namn Vida. Efter att ha varit nere för räkning planerar Kenny nu sin stora comeback.
