SINOPSE:
1993. Dicky Ecklund (Christian Bale) teve seu auge ao enfrentar o campeão mundial Sugar Ray Leonard em uma luta de boxe, colocando a pequena cidade de Lowell no mapa. Até hoje ele vive desta fama, apesar de ter desperdiçado a carreira devido às drogas.
