DESCRIPTION
A young photographer Thun and his girlfriend Jane discover mysterious shadows in their photographs after fleeing the scene of an accident. As they investigate the phenomenon, they find other photographs contain similar supernatural images, that Thun's best friends are being haunted as well, and Jane discovers that her boyfriend has not told her everything. It soon becomes clear that you can not escape your past.

Tun e Jane, di ritorno in macchina da una festa, investono una ragazza. Presi dal panico i due scappano, senza prestarle soccorso. Tutto sembra tornato alla vita normale quando invece nelle fotografie di Tun, che di mestiere fa il fotografo, iniziano ad apparire delle strane ombreggiature, una luce anomala, ombre inquietanti...
Esordio alla regia dei due tailandesi Banjong Pisanthanakun e Parkpoom Wongpoom che con Shutter (la parola indica l'otturatore del dispositivo fotografico) firmano uno dei maggiori successi al botteghino del loro Paese nel 2004, interpretato da due bravi e giovani attori Ananda Everingham e Natthaweeranuch Tongmee. Il cinema orientale (dal Giappone alla Corea fino appunto alla Tailandia) che tanto ha regalato al genere horror, anche questa volta centra l'obiettivo grazie a una regia, vivace e movimentata, che riesce a mantenere comunque sempre alto il livello della tensione, supportata, anche e soprattutto, da una sceneggiatura e da un plot ormai collaudati, ma ben miscelati, messi in scena in maniera sapiente.
