На протяжении большей части своей карьеры выступал под именем Принс, но использовал также и множество псевдонимов. По всему миру продано более 100 миллионов копий его альбомов. Лауреат семи премий Грэмми, премий Оскар и Золотой глобус. В 2004 году имя Принса было занесено в Зал славы рок-н-ролла.
