TRAMA
Dopo il ritrovamento del relitto della Yamato (la più imponente nave da guerra mai costruita), una donna si reca al "Museo Yamato" di Kure, in cerca delle esatte coordinate che individuano i resti della nave. Vuol farsi portare sul luogo, dal Capo Sindacato dei pescatori, ma ottiene un rifiuto. Accetterà di accompagnarla Kamio, un vecchio pescatore, una volta arruolato in Marina proprio sulla Yamato. La donna è figlia adottiva del Ufficiale di Seconda Classe Uchida, un commilitone che fu grande amico di Kamio, fino alla tragedia. Inizia il loro viaggio verso le coordinate 30° Nord e 128° Est e indietro nel tempo, sulle onde del ricordo.
