10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!

My notes begin with this quote from the film:
"They're making copies of our copies."
Red Hot was available in video stores in the early 90's in VHS. When Red Hot came out on DVD I got a
copy gave it to the local library. I think it was just a dupe from the VHS. The quality of the transfer
is from that era. The Russian source was no doubt the same. Somewhere there is a Red Hot torrent in
Korean out on the net. The source of this recode is from one of the languages shown above in Russian.
They valued the film.
The quote above is from the highlight of the film for me which I'll not give away directly. But it
applies so aptly to what we and particularly I do on the file shares. Simply put, information and
knowledge want to be free like Stuart Brand originally said to Steve Wozniak. And that is what Red Hot is
about.
The artwork and story remind me a lot of the film "Swing Kids" (also from 1993) and highly recommended
as well. Swing Kids is in good availability. It has clips on You tube. In that one it's fun to see the
one-day-to-play Batman Christian Bale cutting a rug to "Sing Sing Sing" in a jitterbug sequence.
From You Tube, I've included the trailer for Red Hot. Though the action is at a pace, this is Haggis'
first film and the story itself makes it worthwhile throughout.
