10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!
AdAway blocks those annoying ads from Android third-party free or paid apps.
The original AdAway app was developed by Dominik Schürmann and was removed by Google due to Violation of section 4.4 of the Developer Distribution Agreement (sic!). The real reason it was removed was because the app interfered with Google's ads business - Google weren't making much money because the app blocks all ads not only from Google, but also their affiliates and other ads networks.
Schürmann no longer release an Android package (APK) for AdAway, but he still participate in its development. You can find AdAway source codes at https://github.com/dschuermann/ad-away. You can download the source codes in your IDE (Eclipse or Android Studio) and build your own AdAway app if you wish.
The AdAway Android package included in this torrent was built by F-Droid. You can also find it at https://f-droid.org/packages/org.adaway/.
