The program has been designed as common product for security cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and remote pcs. Users view MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software using net that surveillance station can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition considerably increases reliability because all parts act as autonomous programs. If one unit stops working, other parts go on running. For instance if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart computer via Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
