10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!

# __`The Subtitle`__
* #### Added in Japanese Karaoke (top) and English Translations (bottom) to the OP/ED. "Karaoke effect" added.
* #### The "Karaoke effect" of every Jpn syllable is perfectly in sync with the OP/ED theme song. So now you can sing along the beloved classic songs whenever you watch.
* #### Manually positioned and edited all 153 title names, with same style as the Jpn title names.
* #### Some personal preference changes :
* #### __Turtle Hermit__ changed to __Kame-Sennin__
* #### __Old-timer__ changed to __Jii-chan__
* #### __Krillin__ changed to __Kuririn__
* #### __Yamcha__ changed to __Yamucha__

# __`The Audio`__
* #### Obviously, it's the Broadcast Audio. Synched to R2J and I already uploaded the lossless version on Nyaa ([Link](https://nyaa.si/view/1240974)). I gave the description there. For this project, I'm using AC3 256kbps, which is Juubundesu.
# __`The Video`__

* #### The inconsistency in the colors of the R2J DVDs is ridiculously ridiculous (yes, I said it twice). Some episodes are greenish, some are yellowish, some pink, some red, some too dark, some too bright............basically all kinds of shit going on. On top of having different colors from one episode to another, the OP-MAIN-ED-NEP colors of a single episode are also different from one another. By 'colors' I mean colors/brightness/saturation all that shit. So I had to colorcorrect the 4 parts (OP-MAIN-ED-NEP) of a single episode separately. & I couldn't just apply that preset over to the next episode, cuz that episode has a whole different set of colors. It was a major pain in the ass (or should I say eyes). It's like they hired 153x4=612 people, each with a different perception of color, to create the DVDs. ............Ofc, I'm exaggerating a little bit. In the end, my love for the OG Dragon Ball prevailed over everything.
* #### I used Vapoursynth and Premiere. VS for upscaling & grains tweaking & a bunch of shit to make it look like native 576p. Premiere for the color correction.
* #### As for the grains, I didn't degrain the videos. Just tweaked them a little bit. They're now much more evenly distributed throughout the frames, instead of being in complete chaos. I also managed to keep the files at a reasonable size, 500~600 MB.
* #### __I'm not gonna say I did a good job, no, not even close. But I will say this, I tried my DAMNEST HARDEST to make it look as good as possible. From the Subs to the Audio to the Video....just my sloppy attempt at making it one of the best OG Dragon Ball releases out there. It's what I love, it's what I grew up with, it doesn't get enough attention and almost always gets overlooked by Z, when it was the one that started the whole "Battle Shounen" genre.__
* #### And finally, I'd like to say that this is just my own take on the color corrections. You may not like the color corrections I used. & That's okay.
