The program has been designed as common product for security cross platforms functioning concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the identical form and functionality on the local and remote pcs. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have complete control of the program via network that security server can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure considerably boosts reliability because all components work as independent applications. If one part stops working, other components keep on working. For instance if the `capture` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` part. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by activity, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant computer via Web interface.
