After barely making it through their Secondary School Certificate examinations, Ritesh Virani, whose father is a Kabadia, is unable to get admission in any college. He is not the only one though, his pals Pooja Nigam and Nanj Nair are also in the same leaky boat. They attempt in vain to secure admission through the father of their scholarly pal, Vishnu Vardhan. Then Ritesh's father decides to fire his hired help and get his son to do the work, and Pooja's dad decides to get her married, the desperate friends get together and concoct a fake college 'Fakirchand And Lakirchand Trust University', with the help of their money-lender friend, Google Chand. They recruit school-teacher, Baaji Rao, as Principal, whose performance is unacceptable by his school principal due to lewd references to 'Munni's Badnami' and 'Sheila's Jawani'. Google Chand offers them a derelict mansion in Panchgani, which they must renovate, invite their respective parents and show them that they have finally been accepted in college. Things get out of hand when scores of youngsters with poor marks show up, insisting on being admitted. Unable to handle the situation, the group let things ride - but not for long - for soon the police and Mr. Vardhan will get involved - threatening to burst their bubble once and for all. De collegedagen lopen op hun einde. Het schoolgebouw wordt een uitgestrekt complex van donkere gangen en griezelig stille klaslokalen.
Wat geen van de overgebleven leraren en leerlingen zich realiseren is dat vanavond een avond wordt die ze zich de rest van hun leven zullen herinneren.
Met name de Engelse leraar Robert Anderson die levensmoe is, alcoholverslaafd, last van een burn-out heeft en opnieuw contact probeert te leggen met zijn dochter.
Als de school wordt aangevallen door een moordlustige groep jongelui moeten de leraren zichzelf zien te verdedigen.
Storyline
In England, the teacher of the Wittering College Robert Anderson is hit on the face by a student and is forced to take three months vacation to be not sued by the parents of the kid.
Robert is affected by the incident and a couple of months later, he is emotionally disturbed, alcoholic and separated of his wife Helen.
Their daughter Kate lives with her mother and has classes with Robert, but she does not respect her father.
The principal of Wittering College, Sarah Balham (Ruth Gemmell), loathes Robert and wants to get rid of him, but the Union does not allow her to fire him.
When Robert reads about violence in another school, he sends a memo advising the employees of the school and he is considered paranoid and delusional by everybody.
One day after hours, Robert notes some strange movements outside the school and he advises the security guard James that does not give much attention to the discredited Robert...
