My notes



      Previously I have uploaded "Wonders Are Many: the making of Doctor Atomic" which is still active on this collection under loninappleton.  

      Recently I looked to see if Doctor Atomic was active on any index and could not find it.  This coding is to replace earlier torrents that have gone dormant.

      In the previous notes to The making Of Doctor Atomic I made the point that it does not matter if you are an opera fan for this work. Its importance is that as part of the classic opera repertoire it becomes part of the history of the 20th Century.  Also the director Peter Sellars is featured in the extras.  Sellars is also active in teaching coursework at the UCLA where he teaches "Art as Social Action" and "Art as Moral Action." He is fascinating to watch while working and in his commentary.

     The dvd set is fully available and should be in libraries and viewed by all with complete documentation.  This is always my goal.
