The program has been designed as general software for surveillance hybrid platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the identical appearance and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers view MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the software using network that surveillance pc can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular configuration considerably boosts reliability because all parts work as independent software. If one part stops working, other parts continue working. For example if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture through a `playback` module. The program does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on remote server via Web interface.
