10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!
Victoria HDD_SSD is a utility for testing and restoring hard drives. The Victoria program works with HDDs via I/O ports at the lowest level. The program is designed for service technicians and is used to repair or restore information from hard drives, can be useful for ordinary users.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The power of Victoria:
- Read the drive's passport and display full technical information about the drive.
- Identify ATA/SATA installed controllers (including optional controllers).
- View S.M.A.R.T. drive parameters, quickly assess drive status.
- 12 surface test modes by verifying, reading, and writing, with counting and displaying the addresses of faulty units.
- Low-level testing. Detects trouble spots - hard drive surface bad sectors.
- Determines average access time. Evaluates the performance of the hard drive under test to detect emerging defects by sorting the read blocks of data by access time.
- HDD acoustic noise level control. Allows you to vary the speed at which hard drive heads move and is designed to reduce noise levels.
- Fast erase without recovery.
- Flaw detector. Surface condition analysis of 4 all kinds of tests, with calculation and display of unstable areas, with the exact addresses of each unstable sector and automatically recorded in a text file.
- Hiding surface defects by reassigning sectors from the reserve (remap) on any of the 8 tests.
- Viewing the contents of the sectors with the possibility of editing.
- Cleaning the disc (or part of it) from information - low-level formatting.
- Manage security options: set a password on your HDD, remove the password, erase information without recovering it.
- HDD head positioning test (similar to what Windows does when you work hard) to detect the reliability and thermal stability of your computer's disk subsystem.
