Nadat alle agenten van de Britse Geheime Dienst in één klap worden vermoord bij een aanslag, rest Pegasus (het Hoofd van de Britse Geheime Dienst) niets anders dan geheimagent Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) op de zaak van de gestolen kroonjuwelen te zetten.
