Twee studenten besluiten samen deel te nemen aan een medisch onderzoek om wat extra geld bij te verdienen. Het onderzoek vergt dat ze beiden een experimentele drug gebruiken waarvan de bijeffecten nog onbekend zijn. Terwijl ze in een steriele omgeving verblijven, beginnen de nare bijeffecten van de drug zich langzaam op te dringen. Het gevaar beperkt zich echter niet tot hen alleen.
