DESCRIPTION
When 17-year-old Butch is sent to the Enola Vale Youth Correctional Center in Montana for blinding an abusive correctional officer, he brings with him a deep-seated intolerance for injustices and a penchant for meting out retributions on his own. De drie jonge wetsovertreders Butch, Davis en Angel arriveren in de jeugdgevangenis Maplewood, onder het toeziend oog van Goodyear, een strenge maar meelevende bewaker.
Butch, overgeplaatst uit een andere instelling voor mishandeling, wacht zijn tijd af tot hij naar een normale gevangenis wordt gestuurd.
Hij en Davis worden al vrij snel het slachtoffer van Banks, de meest gevreesde jongen van het instituut.
