Worstelend met het recente overlijden van haar vader, begint Mara aan een eenzame reis naar Oregon Rogue River om de as van haar vader te verstrooien. Wanneer Mara's auto wordt weggesleept, aanvaardt ze een ritje van de vriendelijke Jon Wall die ook rouwt om de dood van zijn jonge dochter.
