In this Film, Pierre Klein explores the woman's handbag, this intimate accessory of day to day life and tried to revel their personality through this object of mystery. The process was always the same: Klein asks uniformed women to empty their bag. The film begins with a simple request: 'I want you to empty your bag'. After a brief hesitation, each women reveal here bag and describes its content. Those one-on-one are sometimes akin to a psychoanalytic session, sometime to a confession, and always confirm the deep evocative power of everyday life intimate objects. Pierre Klein always keeps his distance and only intervenes to ask questions or encourage the woman to go further in their commentaries. Opening their bags, women open their hearts.
