10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!
This is a mix I [Black Sheep] did with a friend of mine [Neo]. You can also find him here at http://www.aaronmbuckley.co.uk/showreel/Home.html

this project began when killa asked me to collaborate with him on a mix, i wasn't sure what to expect tbh and kept thinking what if he doesn't like what i've done, luckily he did, i'm just gifted that way :P
so killa had already been working on a part of a mix and sent it to me with some other tracks he thought i could use. i loved the way the speech was in with the music on the part of the mix he'd already sent me as it was really great and fitted perfectly with his music. he also sent me some speech along with some songs, i decided to dive straight in with the speech though and clashed it all together creating a track which is pretty much just speech driven apart from the underlying piano and then carried it on into the next track with sound effects. that was the first part of my bit.
he then sent me some more ideas, and i sent him some too. although i found it quite hard getting into it again and seemed to hit a creative block, until killa sent me some youtube clips of people who had died (e.g. princes diana and others), and thought we could pay tribute to them in part of the mix. this inspired me ten fold and set to work. i also used my voice in one of the tracks where i read one of killa's poems. took me a while but i finally worked out what our mix was about :)
its about pain, sadness, death, anguish, loved ones, happiness, and a whole bunch of other feelings all told through speeches and movie dialogue taken from recent and not so recent years. with music that helps tell the story and emotion. in doing so i think some of the tracks have been given new meaning, which is all about what making mixes is really. taking the tunes you love and making them better :)
i really enjoyed the experience and feel i actually learnt quite a lot, can't wait for the next one ;)
