Francois van Heerden is een Afrikaner in de veertig. Hij is een familieman met twee dochters, woonachtig in Bloemfontein. Daarnaast is hij openlijk racist en homofoob, maar voelt hij zich tegelijkertijd seksueel aangetrokken tot andere blanke mannen en heeft hij zo nu en dan seks met hen. Wanneer hij de 23-jarige jongen Christian tijdens de bruiloft van zijn dochter ontmoet, raakt Francois geobsedeerd door de jongen en wil hij alles te weten komen over hem.
