О фильме: Каждый родитель хочет гордиться своим ребёнком. Но Литвины устали стыдиться поступков своего Бореньки. Дело в том, что Боря теперь — Борис Валентинович и он — мэр их города, а в народе у него — устойчивая репутация «хапуги». Узнав, что проворовавшийся мэр собрался баллотироваться на второй срок, мама и папа решают не дожидаться, когда за сыном «придут», а «посадить» его самим — в его любимую детскую комнатку… за толстую решётку. Так уединённый лесной домик на окраине городка превратится в режимный объект, где родители попытаются вместе проанализировать и исправить педагогические ошибки, чтобы наставить мэра на истинный путь.
