10 JUL 2026 - Back up to full speed! Let's be honest: for the last few months, TorrentFunk was painfully slow. Pages crawled, searches dragged, and just loading the site tested everyone's patience. We hunted the problem down to our network and rebuilt it from the ground up — smarter caching, a much bigger and faster connection, and a lot of fine-tuning under the hood. The difference is night and day: the site now loads in a fraction of a second. No more waiting around. Thanks for sticking with us through the slow spell. Now go discover your funk!
If anybody is willing to invite me to any PTs like AB and U2, which are the only two I care about since they're the most likely to have the sources that can help me, that would be greatly appreciated, being in those would greatly help me in getting access to the best sources for what I want to encode in the future. Message me on Discord ".X01#0298" or find me via the discord linked below.
Video filtering: Crop, Edge Fix, Chroma Fix, Anti-Alias, Dehalo, Denoise, Deband, Regrain. Scenefiltering to reduce temporal aliasing/shimmering in E01(comp 12), Protecting intentional damage in E04, Tempered excessive grain during long flashback sequence in E11. For more info check the VapourSynth scripts.

Encoding notes: Raised CRF +1(15.5 to 16.5) for E05 due to near-contsant shake raising bitrate(Deshaking might have been worth a try, but I didn't). Tempered and zoned excessive grain in E11. Grain tempering comp here: https://slow.pics/c/zzl9rSgZ - I only even tried tempering the grain because I was interested in how it would look if I did, but since it looked mostly okay I decided to fix it up and leave it in for the encode. The video has seemingly random application of a very visible and ugly dither and extreme banding, often at the same time, I've done what I could to neutralize these with minimal damage to detail, but without scenefiltering it, which I didn't want to do, the choice between protecting detail or cleaning more of the dither and banding had to be made, I chose to protect the detail, so the dither and banding occasionally show themselves.
Thanks to WSE/Wyse for sending me his edited version of the Kira-Fansub subtitles and the lossless English audio for this.
