It is my hope that students will find joy and success in solving problems and grow as learners and participants within our classroom community. To reach these goals the course curriculum is structured around the Common Core Standards through our Algebra textbook.Algebra 1 introduces students to variables, algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, and all their multiple representations. In this class, students will develop the ability to explore and solve real-world application problems, nstrate the appropriate use of graphing calculators, and communicate mathematical ideas clearly.
