Here is the long-lost toku series from 1974--Go Nagai and Knack Productions' "Battle Hawk," presented as x264 .mkvs and in a raw, unsubbed format!
Short story long, I actually bought a gently used set of old R2J rental DVDs in order to rip this series and make the raws available to everyone. The first thing I did was offer them to Nanto, since he had fansubbed the series way back when, but after a few months of going back and forth with rebooting the project, he recently told me his plate was full and gave me permission to upload these raws I had made. So, here you are, folks, the complete series of this absurdly weird, and yet, altogether enjoyable toku rarity are yours for the taking!
As far as the show itself goes, it follows the adventures of three siblings (two brothers and one rather attractive sister) who use their God Hawk devices to transform into the Battle Hawks, who fight the evil general Koki Tayjin and his demonic minions every episode. Oddly enough, the sister ends up in a swimsuit half the time, and even has a few rapey/fanservice-y scenes later on, which shocked me a little, since this was supposed to be aimed at kids!
All that aside, if you love old and obscure 1970's toku, you won't want to miss Battle Hawk, and be sure to seed for a while after you're done!
