Wer das weisse Rauschen sieht, der wird sofort wahnsinnig. Ausser wenn er schon wahnsinnig ist. Dann wird er normal! Lukas zieht mit 21 Jahren in die Großstadt, in die WG seiner Schwester. Er hat das sichere Gefühl: Jetzt fängt das Leben an. Sofort stürzt man sich ins Nachtleben. Es gibt Partys, Drogen und eigenlich eine Menge Spaß. Doch nach einem Drogentrip beginnt Lukas plötzlich Stimmen zu hören. Die Stimmen beschimpfen ihn und er fühlt sich verfolgt. Paranoide Schizophrenie lautet die Diagnose der Ärzte. Nun beginnt für Lukas der Kampf gegen das Chaos in seinem Kopf. Am Ende einer Reise, die ihn bis an die spanische Atlantikküste führt, scheint er etwas gefunden zu haben, das aus dem Wahnsinn herausführen könnte: Das weisse Rauschen.
