[MrManager] Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01 (1987) VHS Capture

 To mark AnimEigo getting bought out, here is a VHS rip of their very first release: Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01. This was captured with a GV-USB2, and deinterlaced with yadif 2x. Scans of the cover, tape, and registration card are included. Unfortunately the tape itself is not a first edition, but besides the copyright info at the beginning and the previews at the end, I'm not sure if there any differences between this and the first pressed edition. I am only posting this here as it is of historical value, as this is almost certainly the very first uncensored and uncut anime released in the US with subtitles, not making a single change to the video itself. It very likely beat out U.S. Renditions's release of Gunbuster Vol. 1 and Central Park Media's release of DOMINION Tank Police Vol 1. The video quality is very poor. Like I said the only interest with this tape is its historical value, which will become moot if I ever find a tape from the first pressing and capture that. If you actually want to watch this, check out the Blu-Ray which has a full HD restoration, commentaries, special features, etc. Also if you have any historical anime tapes you wanna get captured properly, send me an email. I'm specifically looking for anything unique that you can't get with newer releases, or things like fansubs and whatnot.   See you next time!
