This band is the brainchild of underground USA journalist Ryan Bartek, best known for his books 'THE BIG SHINY PRISON (Volume One)' , FORTRESS EUROPE (The Big Shiny Prison Vol. II)' , and 'The Silent Burning.' Bartek plays all instruments in SASQUATCH AGNOSTIC except the drums, and does most the vocals under the alias 'Benedict Badoglio.'
This collection was conceived as the sort of album you'd get in a tape trade once upon a time, you'd hit play and it would just be a hideous train-wreck of violent noise. Inspired by AxCx, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Charles Bronson, Repulsion, Toxic Holocaust, Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Nasum, etc. SASQUATCH AGNOSTIC is raw as condom made of broken glass. Help spread this obscure beast to grinders, metalheads & punks across the globe!
Ryan Bartek is also the author of the non-fiction road books/music journalism exposes 'THE BIG SHINY PRISON (Volume One),' 'FORTRESS EUROPE (The Big Shiny Prison Vol. II) and the anthology THE SILENT BURNING. He performs spoken word under his real name, and has two acoustic/antifolk records as JACK CASSADY. He also is the former guitarist of grindpunk acts AKA MABUS and SASQUATCH AGNOSTIC.
