haven informatie over de olie-industrie lekt naar een groep radicale milieuactivisten die een aanslag voorbreiden. Maar is dit wel de
waarheid? In de Verenigde Staten is president George W. Bush door de internationale olie-industrie onder druk gezet om het Kyoto-
verdrag niet te ondertekenen. Via een klokkenluider bij een Rotterdams oliebedrijf is journaliste Jacqueline Schuurman achter dit
schandaal gekomen, en de betrokkenheid daarbij van een Nederlands bedrijf. Algauw blijkt dat de machtige olie-industrie bereid is
tot het uiterste te gaan om de zaak geheim te houden. Wanneer de klokkenluider wordt ontmaskerd en om het leven komt bij een
auto-ongeluk, slaan Schuurman en Peters de handen ineen om de ware toedracht boven water te halen.
Maar de waarheid over het Kyoto-complot zal zeer explosief blijken te zijn.
