The program has been created as common program for surveillance cross platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same appearance and controls on the local and remote pcs. Users view MPEG-4 coded video and have complete control of the software using network that security workstation can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular configuration considerably increases reliability because all components operate as independent software. If one component freezes, other parts continue running. For example if the `record` module stops working, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture using a `playback` module. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote pc via Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
