The program has been created as universal program for security hybrid platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar form and controls on the local and distant computers. Customers see MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software through network that surveillance workstation can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure considerably improves reliability because all units work as independent software. If one component stops working, other parts go on working. For instance if the `record` module stops working, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` module. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant workstation through Web interface. The software does synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
