The software has been created as general software for surveillance hybrid platforms working all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar look and functionality on the local and apart workstations. Customers view MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the software via network that security station can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular structure drastically increases reliability because all parts work as independent software. If one unit stops working, other components go on working. For instance if the `record` part fails, `watchdog` starts again it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` module. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by activity, human face recognition, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote workstation through Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
