The program has been designed as general software for security cross platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the identical form and controls on the local and apart workstations. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full management of the software using net that security pc can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition drastically improves reliability because all modules work as independent applications. If one module fails, other parts go on running. For instance if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` unit. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant computer through Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected.
